Principal's Message

Blackhawk Elementary Principal

 

Welcome to the 2023/2024 school year!

 

It is a privilege to serve as the principal of Blackhawk Elementary School! Throughout the year, my hope is to observe students cultivating meaningful relationships amongst their peers and teachers, while learning new ideas and skills each day. I am confident that the teachers and staff of Blackhawk Elementary will work to achieve this goal in providing new learning opportunities for our students. While we are committed to this goal, the home to school partnership is an important element in ensuring student success. We look forward to working with the families of our Blackhawk students!

 

My professional career in education began in 2012 where I taught both sixth and seventh grade language arts and social studies in the Cary and Crystal Lake school districts. In 2021, I had the opportunity to join the South Beloit School District serving as the Blackhawk and the Junior High assistant principal, before transitioning to this new role!
