Principal's Message

Mr. Jarrod Peterson 

Hello Blackhawk families, 

First, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Jarrod Peterson and I'll be the principal this year at Blackhawk Elementary. I have been a South Beloit resident my entire life and have previously worked in South Beloit schools as a Junior High social studies teacher for eight years and as the Blackhawk/Junior High assistant principal and athletic director for two years. I'm thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to come back "home" and continue to serve our community. I look forward to partnering with you and your student to have a fulfilling 2024-25 school year!
